Stage II of Southgate occupies a 6 hectare site within 6 kilometres of the CBD. Designed as a mixed use project of approx 100,000 square metres GFA along urban village lines, the project adjoins the Cannon Hill rail station and is located on the junction of Wynnum and Creek Roads – both key city arterials – and is within 2 kilometres of the Gateway arterial (the region’s primary north-south arterial road connecting the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast).

Medium density housing combined with retail, hotel, gym and corporate office in a park environment will create an exciting destination in the near city eastern suburbs of Brisbane. The masterplan for Southgate II is expected to be approved for development in the second quarter of 2010.

Adjoining the office park and the rail station a planned residential community is planned which occupies an additional 15,050 square metre site this will provide 110 units and townhouses, priced for the market at a starting price of $271k. We expect to commence this project this calendar year.
