East Village - Cannon Hill
East Village is Stage II of our Southgate development in Cannon Hill, which follows the successful completion of Stage I by the Anthony John Group.
East Village is a truly integrated masterplanned mixed use development creating an exciting and vibrant “high street” style community – a fusion of our award winning Emporium precinct in Fortitude Valley and our Rosalie Village precinct. The proposed development will include residential, retail, supermarket, cinema, gymnasium and commercial space.
East Village occupies a 6 hectare site within 6.5 kilometres of the CBD, it adjoins the Cannon Hill rail station and is located on the junction of Wynnum and Creek Roads – both key city arterials – and is within 2 kilometres of the Gateway arterial (the region’s primary north-south arterial road connecting the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast).
The first phase of development within East Village will commence late in 2011 and will comprise 105 architecturally designed townhomes.
